Celebrating ten years of collaborative practice, the current seven, Norfolk based members of art group 'Links and Layers' have chosen the enduring and serene space within the Crypt Gallery, Norwich School, to host 'Continuum', their 2024 exhibition in Norwich. Defined by its vaulted ceiling and timeworn brick floor, this historic venue offers a unique and tranquil setting for the display of their work to a wider audience.

Members of the group are linked by a strong interest in textile and fibre, but employ a variety of techniques, skills, and media. Now experienced exhibitors, their work has been well received and acclaimed at venues throughout North Norfolk. Originally formed to mutually support and encourage creative practice through regular discourse and shared experience, the group has developed and evolved, whilst maintaining original goals and ethos. Shared enthusiasm and expertise, has resulted in firm friendships, new associations, and camaraderie, creating a coherence of approach that results in a unified outcome. 'Continuum' reflects this journey.

Mindful of ecological and ethical responsibilities, group practice consciously promotes the use of recycled, repurposed, and natural, sustainable materials, where possible. Inspiration is often taken from nature and our place within it.
